Julie Boden Schmidt
Formerly an Associate Vice President with the National Association of Community Health Centers and Executive Director of Federally Qualified Health Centers, Ms. Boden-Schmidt brings more than 30 years of administrative and management experience in community health centers and public health.
In her role with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), she led the Training and Technical Assistance Department for 8 years. During her tenure she served as Program Manager for the Cooperative Agreement, helped set the strategic direction and priorities for the Association, and promoted the wide variety of programs and assistance to member organizations. Prior to joining NACHC, she served as an Executive Director for Federally Qualified Health Centers in New York and Washington. In Central New York she was responsible for managing a rural community health center with 10 locations and a budget of over $8 million. Her experience in Washington State was with an urban based FQHC which included 8 locations and 180 staff members. In addition to her community health center experience, she worked in the public health arena as the Director of Community Oriented Primary Care Division with the Seattle-King Department of Public Health.
Ms. Boden-Schmidt received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from the University of Washington.
