Mark Ridenour brings to Centerprise Partners more than 30 years of experience in health care management, insurance, managed care, actuarial and consulting roles representing both providers and payors. As Principal of the Ridenour Group, he works to improve health outcomes through the efficient and effective promotion, delivery and implementation of wellness and productivity management solutions.

He founded the Ridenour Group after having served as Executive Director of Mount Carmel Corporate Health & Wellness, Columbus, OH. He created and developed that program which delivered all employer-focused services, including Occupational, Behavioral, CardioPulmonary and Wellness products and served over 3000 employers locally and nationally via its Employee Assistance Program. Prior to that role, Mr. Ridenour served as Mt. Carmel Health System’s Director, Managed Care, responsible for contract negotiations with multiple payors for HMO, PPO and other managed care arrangements. He came to Mt. Carmel from E-V Benefits, where he directed all provider network development as well as actuarial project and consulting for employer clients. Before joining that Third Party Administrator group, he served as Manager, Hospital Contracting & Relations for United Healthcare. He began his health care career at Central Benefits in actuarial services.  

Mr. Ridenour served on various committees addressing health care reform under the administrations of Ohio Governors Ted Strickland and John Kasich, and his commentaries have been published by the Health Policy Institute of Ohio, the Ohio Optometric Association and In Command magazine.

Mr. Ridenour earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Statistics from Miami University (OH) and completed graduate studies at Franklin University (OH).
He is a licensed Agent for Accident & Health, Life and Variable Annuities in Ohio. He is certified by the Health Insurance Association of America and is a member of the Health Underwriters Association.
